Why Is Brand Localization Important in a Multicultural World?

Many “global” companies come under disapproval when they do not take the right steps while marketing their presence in global markets. Children of War – Our Evolving Mankind

Our world is under constant threat due to wars taking place between many countries every day. Papers are filled with news of loss, despair, destruction and death. Millions of children are constantly sacrificed in these conflicts. Civilians form more than 90% of the casualties in these wars. Children are the worst affected as they confront not only physical harm, fear, and violence, but also experience a great fear of loss of loved ones. Homes, playgrounds, and schools which were once seen as safe havens are taken away by the armed forces and broken forever.

The emotional trauma caused by wars on vulnerable children is extreme and most difficult to deal with. Children are unable to process the real reason behind wars and such instances can scar them for life. Children, as small as babies, can suffer from psychological stress and developmental roadblocks. As per CNN report, more than 2 million children were separated from a parent in Iraq and Afghanistan wars. (http://edition.cnn.com/2014/03/11/us/military-children-deployment/)
